Unlocking potential, inspiring futures!

We are eager to introduce you to two unique educational approaches that are at the heart of our teaching philosophy: Reggio Emilia and Anji Play (and all things Montessori, of course!)

The Reggio Emilia approach is an innovative and child-centered approach to education that originated in the town of Reggio Emilia, Italy. At our school, we draw inspiration from this approach to create a learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Here are some key principles of the Reggio Emilia approach:

  1. Child-Centered Learning: We believe that children are active participants in their own learning. Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding children to explore their interests and express themselves through various forms of communication, including art, music, and play.

  2. Project-Based Learning: Learning is driven by projects that emerge from children's interests and questions. These projects encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

  3. Environment as the Third Teacher: Our classrooms are carefully designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. The physical environment plays a crucial role in supporting children's learning experiences.

Anji Play is a play-based educational philosophy developed in Anji County, China. It emphasizes the importance of free play and open-ended materials in early childhood education. At our school, we integrate Anji Play into our curriculum to promote independent and self-directed learning. Key aspects of Anji Play include:

  1. Free Play: Children have the freedom to choose their activities and materials. This promotes self-regulation, decision-making, and creativity.

  2. Risk and Challenge: We encourage children to take calculated risks and explore their boundaries. This helps them develop confidence and resilience.

  3. Documentation: Teachers observe and document children's play, providing valuable insights into their development and interests.

We invite you to learn more about Anji Play by visiting Anji Play's website. This website provides in-depth information about the philosophy and its impact on early childhood education.

Throughout the school year, we will provide opportunities for you to engage with both the Reggio Emilia and Anji Play philosophies through parent workshops, classroom visits, and special events. We believe that by embracing these approaches, we can create a rich and fulfilling educational experience for your child.

If you have any questions or would like more information about our approach to education, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to support you and your child as you embark on this exciting educational journey.
